Bio: With his rotation of World’s Greatest Teacher mugs, it’s apparent Nick has positively impacted many students over his more than fifteen years of teaching at Wilmot Elementary. It's his desire to help grow a kinder race of people that drew Nick to teaching. Originally from the midwest, he knew he found his forever teaching home during the school’s annual tug of war! This must see event that creates lasting memories is an example of why Nick thinks Wilmot is so special. Nick completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and his masters at UC Denver. Nick and his wife have one son who is also a student at Wilmot. So when his son is not following him around school, you can find Nick with his family either hiking, biking, snowboarding, camping, backpacking, and fly fishing, living the ultimate outdoorsy lifestyle.

Bio: Hugs, humor, and a firm yet encouraging style of teaching is what Amy is all about. Originally from Vermont, Amy became part of the Wilmot community in 2006 when her twin daughters started preschool. During that time, she arranged PreK field trips and became a member of the Wilmot Council. Currently, she loves being a third grade teacher, bonding with her students and creating relationships with their families. She has a degree in Education with a concentration in Math and is Gifted and Talented endorsed. She also earned Jeffco’s technology teacher of excellence certificate and the literacy teacher of excellence certificate. These endorsements enable her to bring additional learning tools to her classroom. Outside of school, you’ll find Amy on the Evergreen trails, hanging with her twin daughters and husband, or snuggling with her grandbaby.
