Bio: In 7th grade, Kristin saw first-hand how a struggling student turned things around because one teacher believed in him. And for the last twelve years, she brings that power of positivity into her classroom, believing in her students as a Kindergarten teacher. This is her dream job! She loves school and loves the first day when she gets to meet every child that walks through her door. Kristin has a Master’s degree in Reading and Writing, and a Master’s degree in Differentiated Instruction. Wilmot is her “school family,” her daughters went here, and she considers it her second home. Kristin has two daughters and a step son along with many four legged friends; three big and crazy dogs, three furry cats, two horses and a pony. In fact, Kristin’s been known to bring her pony to school, so he too can get some love from the students at Wilmot Elementary.

Bio: Creating lifelong leaders through art, music, movement, science and kindness is Jenny’s passion and the reason she became a teacher. She loves celebrating all children’s triumphs no matter how big or small. Jenny’s approach to teaching is hands-on, using natural materials and project based learning techniques to help children grow into their best self. She has a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is a certified, licensed preschool through third grade teacher. At home, Jenny tends to her alpaca, goats, chickens, ducks and dogs on her Evergreen farm and raises her two children together with her husband. Jenny believes Wilmot is a place that values children before anything else. And that the staff treats children with the integrity, respect, kindness, and individuality they deserve. She is proud to call Wilmot her second home.
