Classroom Teacher

Bio: For as long as Danielle can remember, she wanted to be a teacher. She would run home and play school after a long day of learning. It’s this project based learning experience she brings to her preschool classrooms. She understands the importance of letting Wilmot’s littlest learners grow through hands-on learning exploration. Originally from Ohio, Danielle got her degree from Bowling Green State University. Then, she moved to Boulder where she taught special education before finding her home at Wilmot Elementary. She and her husband feel settled in Evergreen with their three boys, including a set of twins, and their goldendoodle Gracie. Danielle hopes to inspire her students to love school, take risks, and become compassionate members of the community.

Bio: Coming from a long line of teachers, becoming one herself was a no-brainer for Beth. She loves working with kids and seeing the joy on their face when a new skill is mastered. Beth has been teaching elementary age students for more than twenty years. It’s this extensive experience she brings to her preschool classroom, reaching in her teacher toolbox to make new lessons fun and engaging. Beth grew up in Texas, but now lives in Morrison with her husband of over twenty five years. Together they have two children and a cat named pickles. Outside the classroom Beth enjoys hiking, exploring, reading, and traveling.

Nicole Cook
Nicole Cook
Early Childhood Instructional Partner
Email: Nicole.Cook@jeffco.k12.co.us

Bio: Because Nicole’s three children attended and loved Wilmot she knew she wanted to be part of this warm and welcoming community of teachers. As a preschool teacher, she loves that every day feels like an adventure and that her students are eager to learn and full of wonder. Nicole grew up just outside of Philadelphia. She attended University of Colorado with a degree in Business. It wasn’t until she homeschooled her own kids, watching them create and grow, that she found her passion in teaching. After moving around a lot, Nicole, her husband, their three kids and dog feel they have found their forever home in Evergreen. And she feels lucky to be part of Wilmot, because there’s just something special about this mountain area school.
